This and the murder of United Healthcare’s Brian Thompson raises questions about the 2017 murder of Seth Rich. Speculation at the time pointed toward Obama and/or Clinton, possibly related to Wikileaks, but if we have bred a generation of cold-blooded ideological killers, perhaps we should wonder if he was murdered by a peer millennial for some perceived thoughtcrime.

I see it more as a culture of life versus a culture of death, a culture in which the individual is considered to be unique and have an individual value and one where the individual’s life is essentially meaningless. Yes, the latter often contains aspects of nihilism, but I keep coming back to “culture of life” versus “culture of death.”

There is a chilling line in Elias Rodriguez’s manifesto: “Those of us against the genocide take satisfaction in arguing that the perpetrators and abettors have forfeited their humanity.”

The “abettors have forfeited their humanity” — they’re not human beings anymore and hence don’t have human rights. And these are only abettors! That’s far worse than mere anti-semitism, Marxism, and hatred of Western culture, far more dangerous.

When I was at UMass, I always felt that there were zealots like Rodriguez who would nonchalantly kill me if they thought they could get away with it. Now they’re not overly brave — notice that Rodriguez shot Milgrim and Lischinsky in their backs — but it’s the cowardly dog that will bite you without cause or warning.

What protected me at UMass is that they thought I was crazy & dangerous, and I saw no reason to relieve them of their misconceptions. But it is they who truly are dangerous.
